Sabeen Choir: Three Nights of Music, Song, and Togetherness
Three consecutive evenings brought us together through music, song, and the warmth of human connection. With Sabeen Choir, we shared beautiful moments across different locations, while the spirit of our gatherings remained the same.
Our journey began on Tuesday evening, October 20, in Mieh w Mieh, at the home of Mr. Elie Hajj, musician and oud player. Friends gathered around music and singing, as the oud filled the evening with its melodies and songs found their place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
On Wednesday evening, October 21, the gathering moved to Montada Sabeen’s center in Saida, where choir members came together for a musical rehearsal. The gathering reflected the forum’s belief in the importance of culture and the arts, as well as its commitment to providing a space for artistic activities and welcoming everyone who wishes to learn, express themselves, and participate.
On Thursday evening, October 22, our third stop was Al-Dar in Boulonia, which hosted the choir members as we continued our journey with new faces, yet in the same spirit that had accompanied us from the beginning.
Three nights, moving from one place to another, while the most beautiful thing remained unchanged: being together.
At Montada Sabeen, we believe that music and words can bring people closer and create meaningful spaces for connection and communication, beyond everything that divides us.
From Saida to Boulonia, and from here to every corner of Lebanon, we leave behind a few songs, some memories, and a great deal of love.
